Image Description Service

APS will take photographs and a detailed description of your most loved items, as we feel this is an important part of our service. Should an item ever go missing from your property, this service will greatly improve the chances of recovery.

Benefits of using the APS Image Description Service

We take a variety of shots of each object. From the photograph we will make your object unique and identifiable.

• We indicate the object's size and dimensions by placing a ruler next to small items, and write down the measurements.
• Show distinguishing marks, repair marks, hallmarks.
  
• Show the back and front of paintings and jewellery.
• Once this service is carried out, with your consent we pass the images to your insurance company and ensure a copy is held within a police approved database.

Registration with as much information as possible is advised: Top quality images, edition number(s), signatures, accurate measurements and where relevant serial numbers should be provided.
